Welcome from our Head Teacher
I would like to offer a very warm welcome to Beech Grove Primary school. At Beech Grove School we aim to foster a love of lifelong learning where reading for enjoyment is a golden thread throughout the school. Every pupil at Beech Grove Primary school is important to us. We aim to achieve the highest standards possible for all pupils, through providing a caring, exciting and stimulating curriculum. Where we strive to ensure children build a secure understanding of the world around them. Academic progress, personal development and character building are a continual focus for all staff and are at the heart of all that we do.
We are proud to offer a vast range of exciting opportunities and experiences for all pupils in school and beyond the classroom, in our aim to harness the interests, abilities and talents of each and every child in our care. We are committed to providing our children with opportunities to build aspirations and extend their horizons.
The safeguarding of our children is extremely important to us and with the support of our caring and nurturing staff, our children feel safe, happy and know that they are listened to. We have high expectations of all pupils and this is evident through the learning behaviours and ‘Next Door Neighbour Qualities’ of Respect, Tolerance and Kindness which are firmly embedded into our school culture via our “5 Golden Rules”.
Beech Grove is a wonderful, vibrant and welcoming school that is inclusive and diverse. It is a real privilege to work here and I am extremely proud to be the schools Headteacher. The school is full of happy and enthusiastic children who are keen to learn and achieve. It’s fantastic that our latest Ofsted Report recognises this and judges the school as a Good school.
I hope that you find our website a useful source of information and that it gives you an insight into what makes Beech Grove Primary School a great place to learn and grow. If you have any questions you may like to ask, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
